Most of you need no introduction to Bill Haley. Between his 36-year career in the vacation rental industry and his extensive commitment to our community — serving on boards and volunteering with organizations like the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, Hilton Head Kiwanis and various town committees — he is a towering figure in the Lowcountry.
As the principal broker for vacation rental giant Vacasa in South Carolina, he’s taking what he’s learned and passing it on to the next generation.
“It’s great to be working with younger people entering the industry who need advice,” he said. “I try to give them the big picture… they have to recognize starting at the top of the pyramid is the property owner. I try to get them to focus on professionalism.”
