Weichert Realtors has welcomed new agents. David and Amanda Rutherford will work out of the Sun City office. They both have decorated military and federal service careers spanning more than two decades. David holds a masters of business administration in hospitality management from Johnson and Wales University and is pursuing a master’s degree in finance.  Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies from American Military University and is working toward a second degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina Beaufort.

Weichert Realtors has welcomed new real estate agents.

Michelle Alaimo grew up in Rochester, New York, and worked for 20 years as a photojournalist at newspapers in several states, before moving to Hilton Head in 2018. She eventually pursued a career in real estate.  She will work out of the Hilton Head office.

Avis Knowles has been a resident of Savannah, Ga., most of her life. She will work out of the Savannah office.

BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY HIRES OFFICE ASSISTANT, AGENT, DIGITAL DIRECTOR

CyCy Cornaglia and Mackenzie Medlin recently joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Bay Street Realty Group and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Cora Bett Thomas Realty. Cornaglia is an office assistant in the Savannah office. From Sao Paulo, Brazil, she speaks fluent Portuguese, basic Spanish and understands some Italian. Medlin has joined the team as a real estate agent. She graduated from SCAD with a fine arts degree in fashion marketing and management. Lindsey Nix has been hired as digital director. Nix was the former marketing director for Cora Bett Thomas Realty which in May was acquired by Bay Street Realty Group. She will direct all website, digital and agent marketing support needs for the organization.

COLLINS GROUP REALTY DONATES $9,000 TO LOVABLEPAWS

When a local charitable organization receives an unsolicited $9,000 donation from a local company, it’s a big deal.

That big deal happened Aug. 18 when Chip Collins, owner and broker-in-charge of Collins Group Realty, presented the check to Lovable Paws Rescue in Hardeeville, a 501(c)(3) status organization since 2015.

Dunes Real Estate has added three agents. Lori and Tal Crandell have a combined 30 years of experience in real estate. They recently made Hilton Head their home after raising a family in Pittsburgh, Pa. Lisa Medford had spent 21 years working at Island Real Estate Magazine. She has been a full-time Realtor since 2012.
